Editing

I edit or proofread German translations and other kinds of German texts. I also offer corrections for international students and doctoral students who write scientific texts in German. I am used to reading and correcting texts from non-native German speakers.

Translation

As a translator for English, Spanish and Portuguese, I translate marketing, scientific or journalistic texts into German—my mother tongue. I also offer the whole package  – translation and proofreading  – in collaboration with colleagues.

Transcreation

Transcreation is the process of adapting a message from one language to another. Especially in marketing and advertising, it often doesn’t make sense to just translate a text. In these cases, I use the original text as inspiration and a basis to create a new text in German that is adapted to the target market.

Texts

I also offer copywriting in German of all kinds of texts like for example flyers, press releases or articles about different topics like nutrition, health or sustainability issues. A short brief or bullet points are sufficient.
